The weather has been very capricious today — rain, hail, wind, sun and clouds were switching places the entire day. Even as I was on my way home in the afternoon, I couldn’t avoid a quick storm. However, while yesterday I decided to continue cycling in the rain and arrived home completely soaked, today I was a little bit wiser and hid under an umbrella and a narrow roof on a small street. As I was waiting for the rain to pass, I couldn’t help but take a lot of photos…

This is the short story of an April storm, in images:

It was raining and sunny at the same time when I arrived on Herenstraat
But then it started hailing
Strange light in between the showers
Still waiting for the rain to stop
The pavement was covered with hail
A beautiful entrance which I used as a shelter
The clouds are gathering again
But I stay hidden among the flowers
After the rain there\'s aways sunshine
A bike fell victim to the wind
