One wish from the April bucket list is already accomplished: I’ve spent a lovely, relaxing afternoon in the cherry park from Amsterdamse Bos! There were quite a few people there, but the place didn’t feel crowded or noisy; the ambience was so pleasant — everyone was marveling at the beauty of the blossoms, taking pictures, having a picnic or a nap, children were playing and dogs were chasing petals. The perfect place to enjoy a spring day!

If you want to visit, just search “Kersenbloesempark, Amstelveen” on Google Maps and you’ll find the route. Until then, enjoy a short glimpse of the place:

  1. These are beautiful photos! I had no idea that this was in Amsterdamse Bos. I’m so glad you wrote about it so people can now go explore. It reminds me of the Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C…though hopefully less crowded!
