When friends visit Amsterdam, I usually try to be a guide, showing them the hidden places or the famous ones, lovely bars and shops around the city. Not this weekend. I was tired and not in the mood to go play the tourist on the busy streets, so I let my friends visit on their own. I decided I will show them something else instead: the pretty little Haarlem. 

It was fun catching up with old friends while strolling the cosy streets, petting all the cats we met in our way, marvelling at the beautiful old houses and enjoying the sunny day. I should do this more often 🙂
