Chasing the Sun in Bucharest

I just returned to Amsterdam from a lovely Easter holiday in Romania, where I spent a few days in Bucharest and the rest in the countryside. I took great pleasure in the 20 degree Celsius temperature, which is almost summer by Dutch standards! I was busy meeting people, but I kept one afternoon in Bucharest for myself, to walk around and play tourist. The following photos were taken on that afternoon when the dimming light was softly descending over the buildings; I chased the rays of the setting sun from Victoriei all the way to Unirii, where I witnessed a beautiful sunset over the Dâmbovița River.
