Walking around the city before everyone else wakes up is a wonderful sensation. I love the empty streets, the tranquillity, the stillness of the canals, the sun slowly rising over the houses. I think it might become a habit 🙂

Hi! I just found your blog today. I’m loving your posts! I just moved here two months ago and my favorite thing ever is waking up early on Saturdays and taking my dogs to the museumplein. This city is amazing, but it is especially amazing early in the morning. Can totally relate to this post 🙂

Doesn’t matter what city I find myself in, that brief hour or two when all goes silent and only nature’s voice can be heard between your own breaths is such a magical feeling… even more so in summer when the sun is coming up and the light breeze flows.
I’m yet to wander the streets of Amsterdam and experience it’s momentary quietness but it will be one of the first things I do when I move there in April.
