I decided to pay a visit to De Hallen today, not for the usual good food, but for the Local Goods Market event, hosted there for the weekend. The market is a great opportunity to check out and buy locally made items, from delicious food and drinks to clothes, furniture, even bikes. It’s impossible to leave empty handed from the market and I think it’s great to show support to the local producers, by buying some of the great things they create.

The event takes place every two weeks or so, you can follow their Facebook page to find out when the next one will be, if you’re interested.
