The long awaited spring is finally showing signs of coming to the Netherlands! I’ve just came out from isolation after Covid, and went for a nice walk in the sun. Spring cleaning on the canals of Amsterdam — thousands of bikes are removed from the water every year. With over 800.000 bicycles in the city, it’s inevitable that a large number of them end up in the canals, by accident or by the hand of an angry neighbour!
