Yesterday I went for a walk in the lovely Frankendael Park, which I haven’t visited very often since I moved from the area. I missed that charming place, the wild flowers and the fresh air. I also missed having lunch in the garden at the Merkelbach restaurant. It was a rainy day, but not cold, so it was a pleasure to sit outside under the umbrellas, watching the rain. The food was delicious, as always. The patio — almost empty. A perfect place to hide from the rain and from the busy city.
