Pride 2018 Amsterdam: the Canal Parade

Confetti, pink tutus, angel wings, rainbows and unicorns everywhere, balloons that would make a shy person blush, exposed six-packs and pectorals, street parties, colourful boats sailing down the canal — this was the Canal Parade, the main event of the Pride Amsterdam Festival.  

It is a crazy day, the day of the parade, but I still love the vibe, I still go to watch the boats. No matter what haters will say, this day is filled with love and joy, and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise. This is how it looked like in 2018:
