Scheveningen Fireworks Festival

Last night Amsterdamian took a detour down to the Hague’s beach in Scheveningen to attend the closing night of the Scheveningen International Fireworks Festival. Tens of thousands of people gathered on the beach to enjoy the well choreographed light displays from Japan and the Netherlands — needless to say, the home country advantage proved overwhelming, and the Netherlands won the public vote for best of show!
