The centre of Amsterdam may not be my favourite part of the city, given the fact that it’s always very crowded and sprinkled with a bunch of kitschy things here and there, but the touristic centre is — for sure — one of the most visited and photographed areas of Amsterdam. It has a certain charm which many tourists will remember as that “je ne sais quoi” feeling that makes Amsterdam unique. When you visit make sure not to miss it — but don’t limit yourself to this area either!
