Spring is coming to town

It seems that spring has arrived to Amsterdam, even if it’s cloudy and windy and there are only 3 degrees Celsius outside. Nothing stops the spring flowers from blooming — so beautiful, so colourful and so… everywhere!
I am amazed in particular by the crocuses I see everywhere: I’ve never seen such big crocuses in my life! Must be the Dutch variety — everything is big in this country, from people to birds and to flowers. But the size doesn’t make the pretty spring flowers any less delicate; they are even more beautiful and they mesmerise me, I could look at them for hours, watching the diligent bees collecting nectar.
