Most people think visiting Keukenhof is only for the outdoor gardens. But this park holds more surprises for its visitors, like the indoor pavilions which are also filled with amazing flowers, hosting carefully arranged exhibitions.

Keukenhof has four main pavilions, each with its own character.

  • Willem-Alexander Pavilion, where you can see amaryllis, potted plants and lilies.
  • Beatrix Pavilion: is all orchids and anthuriums, all season long.
  • Oranje Nassau Pavilion is the one that keeps changing. Every week, there’s a new themed flower show: roses one week, freesias the next, then gerberas, carnations, chrysanthemums.
  • Then there’s the Juliana Pavilion, which is more of a history and education space.

The pavilions are climate-controlled and covered, so they’re your best option on a rainy or windy day. Dutch spring weather being what it is, it’s very likely you will encounter some rain during your visit at Keukenhof. And because the indoor displays are kept at ideal temperatures, you’ll see flowers in full bloom from opening day, even if the outdoor gardens are still catching up with the season.

Keukenhof is open until 10 May 2026.
