I like to visit art galleries from time to time, to see what’s on the market at the moment. It can be a great way to get a bit of inspiration or to spend some free time (for free). Although, I have to admit that in some cases I am intimidated by the white walls, big prices and the gallery assistant’s mean stare, and I stay away from those places. But the smaller galleries are friendly and always make me feel amongst friends.
Last time I passed through the Spiegelkwartier (the place to buy art and antiques in Amsterdam), I entered a few of the galleries that were open and, at the end, I felt as if I had just finished visiting a museum. It’s a very nice experience, don’t miss a visit to these shops, if you have the chance!
