Amsterdamian beauty

What is the essence of this city’s beauty for an Amsterdamian like me? That’s not difficult to decide, however it was quite difficult to choose photos to properly represent it: the old buildings, like toy houses when seen in pictures at a small scale; the bicycles, coming in all shapes and sizes; the romantic canals and bridges; a swan dancing on the water at sunset… or the incredible light enveloping them all. Perhaps it’s the unique entrances with their ubiquitous bicycles and flower pots in front, the mirror-like windows and the cats; the bricks; the clouds; the people; but most of all the unique feeling that Amsterdam gives you.
