Today I needed a long walk somewhere in nature. I just returned from a week of holiday but I’m tired and feel like I need another holiday to recover. I was too lazy to go somewhere outside the city, so I decided to go for a walk in one of the parks. I chose Rembrandtpark, because it’s been a while since my last visit there. Situated in the West part of Amsterdam, this park is less crowded than others and has a few wild areas that I really like. There are many open fields, play areas, lakes and ponds, even a petting zoo. It’s quite big as well, so it was ideal for spending a couple of hours (sunbathing included).

I noticed that the green colour is slowly starting to fade and the first yellow leaves are there. But that’s OK, the park will still be beautiful for a few more months and there will be many more Sunday walks.
