What does a closed window mean? What does a window have to say?

In Amsterdam, every window is a small reflection of the past or the present; one can look at the windows and imagine who lives in those houses: an old couple, a young family, a dog, a cat, romantic or cynical people… Windows of Amsterdam are almost like exhibitions organised by house owners to show their personality and their life. Even when the exhibition is empty, when there are no objects or animals exposed, you can still see something: the glass takes the melting form of the houses on the opposite side.
